When I started working in the used locomotive industry I found other people’s reactions to what I do very interesting. Almost without fail they would say, “Wow, buying, selling and leasing used locomotives, I had never even thought of that.” Then they would ask, “Is it just the locomotive, or do you sell used parts too?” I would then tell them that at S&S Sales and Leasing we buy, sell, and lease almost every part and component that goes on or in a locomotive. That is one of the great things about working here – we have almost anything a customer is looking for. In my time here I have been able to open a lot of people’s eyes about the bustling used locomotive industry, and along the way have been able to help a lot of people find what they are looking for to keep that industry thriving and strong.
