GP Switcher 15 Locomotive ready for Sale or Lease!

S&S Sales and Leasing has a nice GP15 locomotive available for lease! This beautiful locomotive just completed a qualification work scope and underwent NEW paint. And is ready to go to work on your railroad!

The EMD GP15 is a 4 axel diesel-electric locomotive built by EMD between 1976 and 1982. This locomotive was built to operate as a yard or a light road switcher on railroads across the country. Powered by a 12-645 Prime Mover, generating 1500 horse power, making this locomotive perfect for any switching operation. A total of 310 units were built, and a number of them remain in service today.

D77 or Better Traction Motors
D32 Main Generator
